Mattel is dropping a huge line of new Monster High dolls in anticipation of Nickelodeon’s upcoming series. The toy giant first introduced Monster High back in 2010. The entire toy line centers around the children of famous mythical creatures who attend Monster High together in the fictional town of New Salem. Each monster is distinctly different to foster themes of inclusivity, and loving yourself for who you are. With this positive messaging and encouraging its audience to be themselves, it’s no wonder this line became an instant smash hit.

This toy line was paired with a show on YouTube that ran for six seasons from 2010-2015. In 2016, the dolls got a feature-length direct-to-video movie, “Welcome to Monster High.” It centered around Dracula and Frankie and their trials in recruiting students for their new school. In 2017, we got a small reboot “Monster High: Adventures of the Ghoul Squad,” which aired on YouTube Kids. The mini-series follows D. Laura and their friends through the group’s thrilling, and funny, battles.

The rebooted CGI-animated series is set to hit Nickelodeon on October 28th. As well as a new live-action movie, “Monster High: The Movie,” came to theaters on October 6th of this year. The film follows a girl who is half-human and half-werewolf, as she finally finds a place where she fits. Unfortunately, a devious plan threatens to reveal her identity and destroy Monster High. She must learn to accept herself and embrace her true monster heart and save the day.

Mattel‘s new toy line will include:
