Video Game Challenges You’ll Probably Never Beat

So you think you’re a video gaming badass? Think again. Chances are, you’ve never even come close to beating these ultra-challenging levels and game modes. But don’t worry – we’re here to help. Check out this list of video game challenges that are practically impossible to beat! Brace yourself – it’s going to be tough!

Are they Unfair or Simply Unbeatable?

It’s a common occurrence in the world of video gaming- as you’re nearing the completion of a game, be it 95% or 99.8%, the difficulty will spike in order to make that last bit unbeatable. Developers do this because they don’t want players to feel like they can never beat the game, and that their time investment was for naught. This sudden jump in difficulty can often feel unfair, as if all your progress up until that point has meant nothing.

Every player wants to win even when playing for free in the case of casino games. And when real money is involved, it is always the case of an anticipated win. Here is more on deposits and fees in the article on real money casino games. And while the spike in video game difficulty may seem like an evil plot by the developers, it’s actually just a way to ensure that players have a sense of closure when they finish the game. After all, what would be the point of playing if there was no chance of ever winning?

Here are some video game challenges you may never beat

    Fallout 4’s Level Cap

In the world of role-playing games, it’s not uncommon to have to grind out levels in order to progress deeper into the story. However, Fallout 4 took this concept to a whole new level by making the level cap an astonishing 65,535. In order to even come close to reaching such a high number, players would need to invest thousands of hours into the game. Not to mention, it’s an incredibly pointless challenge since everything the game has to offer can be experienced within a hundred levels. Despite this, many players have made it their personal goal to try and reach the level cap. Whether or not they’ll be successful remains to be seen.

Guitar Hero’s “Through the Fire and Flames“

Guitar Hero’s “Through the Fire and Flames” is one of the most difficult songs to master in the game. The song is fast-paced and requires precise button timing to hit all the notes. For those who are up for the challenge, it can be an addicting song to play. The song has become a popular choice for streamers and YouTubers to show off their guitar skills. Some have even attempted to play the song on real guitars, which is no easy feat. For those who are looking for a challenge, “Through the Fire and Flames” is the song for you. But beware, this song will test your patience and guitar skills.

    Tecmo Koei’s “Ninja Gaiden II”

Ninja Gaiden II is a 2008 action-adventure game developed by Tecmo Koei. The game follows the story of ninja Ryu Hayabusa as he seeks revenge for the murder of his father. The game is noted for its high level of difficulty, with enemies attacking relentlessly on even the “normal” difficulty setting. In later levels, enemies are equipped with cannons and other weapons that make them nearly impossible to defeat. Despite the challenges, some gamers have completed the entire game in just four hours without being hit once.

Max Payne 3’s “New York Minute Hardcore”

Max Payne 3’s “New York Minute Hardcore” is a mode that is significantly harder than the “New York Minute” mode. In “New York Minute Hardcore”, you must play the entire game in one continuous run without dying. If you die, you are set back to the beginning of the campaign. This mode is significantly harder because enemies become increasingly tougher as you pass through each stage. Therefore, it requires a lot of skill and coordination to complete this mode without dying. Skilled players who can complete this mode without dying will be rewarded with a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment.

    Fromsoft’s “Demon’s Souls/Dark Souls”

Fromsoft’s Hidetaka Miyazaki set out to rethink the action RPG genre with a focus on serious challenges. His thinking was that players need to overcome real odds to feel a sense of accomplishment. As a result, even the most basic enemies in these games can kill players repeatedly. The only consolation is that death is a staple part of how these worlds work. In other games, dying is a failure, but in Souls games, dying is part of the journey. It’s how you learn and get better. Consequently, death is just another step in the progress of the game.

    FromSoftware’s “God Run 3”

FromSoftware’s catalogue of video games is filled with some of the most difficult yet beautiful action role-playing games ever made. These games have built up a community of players who love nothing more than a challenge. God Run is one such challenge that sees players beating every FromSoftware game back-to-back without taking any damage. This has been completed by multiple people, but since the release of Elden Ring, God Run 3 has been established and nobody has attempted it yet. However, this may soon change as a YouTuber by the name of “Death Stranding” has recently announced their intention to take on the challenge. If they are successful, they will be the first person to beat all of FromSoftware’s games in one go without taking any damage. This would be an incredible feat and would cement their place in gaming history.

    Bottom Line

Even the most challenging video games provide a sense of closure and satisfaction when players finally complete them. While you may never actually beat some of these seemingly impossible challenges, that doesn’t mean they aren’t worth your time. In fact, some of the most rewarding gaming experiences can be found in titles that push you to your limits. So next time you feel like giving up on that last level, remember that it’s all part of the game.
