Eggo Waffles Announce Eggo-Nog for 2022 Holiday Season

Eggo Waffle Company has partnered with Sugarland’s Distilling Co. to bring adults a boozy, nostalgic treat this holiday season. Presenting Eggo-Nog Appalachian Sippin’ Cream! Designed specifically to pair deliciously with Eggo waffles, this alcoholic beverage is sure to delight the tastebuds. And just in time, too. The pumpkin spice wave will soon be ebbing with the arrival of other holiday flavors.

“We created Eggo Nog to give parents a delicious way to indulge in some well-deserved evening me time,” Eggo’s marketing director Joe Beauprez said. The alcoholic indulgence is a traditionally brandy or rum-based, cinnamon and nutmeg treat. And is likely to be packed with just the calories one needs to keep toasty and maybe a bit tipsy on a cold winter night.

This is one drink you can’t leggo your eggo to the kids. The beverage is only available for purchase to those over 21. The Nog is only available for a limited time. Those who want a taste of the winter treat will have to act fast. Nostalgia beckons when it comes to those items that have perpetuated since the 90s. McDonald’s with its recent adult happy meals, for instance. Now Eggo’s riding the wave topped with millennials who wish for that rekindling of childish joy.

So come this holiday season, when you’re perusing the aisles for a tasty bevvie, perhaps a waffle-patterned Sippin’ Cream will catch your eye. Grab yourself a jar of the treat, curl up in front of a roaring fire, and enjoy the boozy decadence. This is a limited flavor, which you can find via Sugarland’s website here.
