    “The Super Mario Bros. Movie” Movie Gets First Teaser Trailer

    At long last, Nintendo and Illumination have released the first look at their upcoming animated “Super Mario Bros.” film. Titled simply “The Super Mario Bros. Movie,” this project was first announced back in 2018. The world being what it was for a few years with Covid, things got delayed.

    Chris Pratt stars as the voice of hero plumber Mario, Anya Taylor-Joy is Princess Peach, Charlie Day is Mario’s brother Luigi, Jack Black is Bowser, Keegan-Michael Key is Toad, and Seth Rogen is Donkey Kong. Original voice of Mario Charles Martinet is on board for reported cameos.

    Illumination CEO Chris Meledandri shared the news that composer Brian Tyler is heading into the studio soon to record the score. Pratt and Black popped in to say hello as well.

    The film is set to hit theaters April 7th, 2023. Check out the teaser now. Footage starts at four minutes in (4:00).
