Ringo Starr is having to cancel his “All Starr Band” date at Mystic Lake Casino, MN due to illness. Fans can rest easy, though. It’s not Covid-19. According to the casino Ringo’s come down with something that has affected his voice, making it pointless to perform.

Ringo’s tour band consists of an annually rotating roster of guest performers, making for a star-studded tour every time. The lineup for 2022 consists of Men at Work’s Colin Hay, Edgar Winter, Toto’s Steve Lukather, the Average White Band’s Hamish Stewart, drummer Gregg Bissonette, and Kansas’s Warren Ham. Previous performers have included icons like Steven Tyler and Stevie Nicks to name a few.

The Ringo Starr and His All Starr Band concert scheduled for 8 pm Sun. 10/2/22 in the Mystic Showroom has been postponed. Ringo is sick and was hoping to be able to perform, hence the late notice, but it has affected his voice. Ringo does not have COVID-19. pic.twitter.com/Es3BsM0HWX

Hopefully, the busiest Beatle will be back on his feet soon. The 82-year-old performer is always staying active. Just recently he won an Emmy for his work in “The Beatles: Get Back” documentary. It’s encouraging to know that Covid hasn’t caught one of the last surviving Beatles members. In the meantime, we wish him a speedy recovery so he can get back to his busy-bee lifestyle. Given how increasingly industrious the bespectacled Beatle is, this is sure to be putting a crimp in his style. Ringo even went so far as to tell fans not to send him any more fan mail due to his tireless activities.

If all goes well, the tour will continue as planned and make its way across the US. Ringo will be stopping off in Canada before returning to the western US, moving through Seattle, Portland, San Jose, Paso Robles, and finally LA before moving down to Mexico. Tickets are still available in all locations and can be purchased here.
