The thrill of video gaming keeps growing, thanks to the immersive elements that developers are incorporating into the gameplay. Role-playing games (RPGs) are at the forefront of this evolution, with some adding real-world elements to their multiplayer offerings. One of the latest additions worth mentioning is the inclusion of gambling options as side missions or minigames.

With these, players get to gamble with other players enjoying the video game across the world. The interconnectivity of video gaming makes this possible, enabling players to earn points or reach goals that help them advance in different ways within the game.

CasinoUSA.com says that some of the most popular online casino releases at the moment include:

    • Slots
    • Bingo
    • Keno
    • Poker
    • Roulette
    • Baccarat
    • Blackjack
    • Video Poker

That means you don’t need to look for casinos that let you play for free whenever you’d like to enjoy some gambling. You can easily turn to video game varieties that will offer you the same thrills while helping you advance in your quest. So, we’ll look at some of the video games you can enjoy at these casino titles whenever you’re looking for unique gambling experiences.

    1. Red Dead Redemption 1, 2, and Online

To start us off is Rockstar Games‘ Red Dead Redemption series. Set in the 1900s Wild West period, you play a former outlaw, John Marston in the first installment. The options you can gamble on here include:

    • Liar’s dice
    • Five finger fillet
    • Poker
    • Arm wrestling
    • Blackjack
    • Horseshoes

Red Dead Redemption 2 then goes back a few years to a period before the first installment. There, you play as Arthur Morgan, one of the members of an outfit that Marston took down. The gambling options at the saloons there include:

    • Five finger fillet
    • Poker
    • Blackjack
    • Dominos

Players can also enjoy the online version of this series, Red Dead Online. With this, you can participate in missions with up to four other players joining you. But unlike the others, you can only pay poker here.

    2. Dead Rising 2

Dive into the action-adventure game Dead Rising 2, launched in 2010 by Capcom. You play as the former motocross rider Chuck Greene in a zombie-filled Nevada casino resort.

While you save people from zombie hordes and look for medication to keep your daughter from becoming a zombie, you can participate in optional tasks besides the main mission. These will have you roaming the resort and shopping complex looking for various supplies, with a safe house that hosts strip poker games.

    3. Watch Dogs 1, 2, and Legion

This Ubisoft release comes in three installments set in fictionalized versions of real-world cities:

    1. Watch Dogs 1 – Happens in a version of Chicago
    2. Watch Dogs 2 – Happens in a version of the San Francisco Bay Area
    3. Watch Dogs: Legion – Happens in a version of Greater London

You play as a hacker trying to bring down various criminal elements in the areas represented in each installment. While you enjoy the free roam aspect, you can distract yourself by messing with things like traffic lights and causing mayhem, or you could visit a casino and enjoy a minigame. Besides finding options like chess and drinking games, the gambling varieties offered in this game include roulette, poker, and blackjack.

    4. Resident Evil 4

If battling villagers infected with a mind-controlling virus is your cup of tea, then Capcom’s release, Resident Evil 4, is right up your alley. You play as Leon S. Kennedy, a US special agent. Your main mission is to search for the president’s kidnapped daughter, Ashely Graham, in Europe. But when you need a breather after an intense battle, feel free to enjoy one or more blackjack minigames.

    5. Fallout: New Vegas

Any avid casino fan with a thirst for gambling will love this spinoff of the Fallout series. Set in a post-apocalyptic version of Las Vegas, Nevada, catch a glimpse of the city’s wonders from a new perspective.

In the game, you play the Courier, tasked with sending a message to save the city. But during your travels, you get robbed and left for dead. Your mission then becomes recovering the package so you can deliver it as promised. In the process, you’ll need to scavenge a little plus earn money to buy the finer things you need. To achieve that, players get to roam a total of seven locations, some with casinos like the Ultra-Luxe casino and resort, the Atomic Wrangler casino, and the Sierra Madre Casino.

Enjoy the haunting backdrop of the Las Vegas skyline as you search for locations that will avail casino minigames like:

    • Lucky horseshoes
    • Roulette
    • Blackjack
    • Slots

More Video Games With Gambling Features

Besides our top 5 options, players can also try one of the following releases for their gambling pleasure.

    • Final Fantasy VIII – which has the Triple Triad game, a 3×3 grid with a stack of cards
    • Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas – which has three casinos with games like slot machines, a wheel of fortune, blackjack, Video poker, and roulette
    • The Sims 3 – visit the Simoleon casino to enjoy blackjack, poker, roulette, or a slot jackpot game
    • The Witcher 3 – comes with a card game called Gwent that’s sure to thrill poker fans

Always Sometimes Monsters – which has casino challenges and a blackjack minigame
