Following the untimely passing of Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins last March, band has announced a pair of concerts to honor his memory. Dozens of legendary musicians will be involved. As of now, there will be two shows happening this fall, with one in Los Angeles and the other in London.

Proceeds for both shows will be going to charities in Hawkins’ name.

It is completely unsurprising that people are lining up to join these tribute shows. Hawkins and bandmate Dave Grohl have long reputations as being some of the nicest guys in rock music. Both the London and Los Angeles shows will each have a parade of incredible guests. Just a few of the names playing in London at Wembley Stadium includes Geddy Lee of Rush, Chrissie Hynde of The Pretenders, Brian May and Roger Taylor of Queen, and Wolfgang Van Halen. These names only scratch the surface of who will be there.

The Los Angeles show will be at the Kia Forum, and also has an amazing guestlist. Among the names announced so far are Joan Jett, Alanis Morissette, Gene Simmons, Miley Cyrus and more. Both shows will also feature Hawkins’ cover band Chevy Metal. More names are promised to be announced soon.

Tickets for both shows will go on sale on Friday, June 17th at 9am local time. The London show will be September 3rd, with Los Angeles on the 27th. Expect the show to be loud, raucous, and very emotional. With Hawkins passing, millions of fans have been waiting to honor his memory with the band. If you want to be a part of this incredible show, be sure to be prepared for tickets to move fast.
