    Dolly Parton Bows out of Rock Hall Nomination, Says “Hasn’t Earned the Right”

    First things’ first- Dolly Parton, you absolutely deserve to be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The museum and foundation aims to celebration individuals and groups who’s contributions to rock and roll have been monumental. Parton, while not traditionally ‘rock,’ has absolutely furthered the excellence of music, and what it is to be inspirational.

    This morning, Parton, who was announced as part of the 2022 nominees for the Rock Hall, has bowed out. She posted a statement to her Twitter, saying she feels she “hasn’t earned the right.”

    We disagree. Completely.

    The current nominees include Duran Duran, Parton, Eminem, and more. Voting is open til April 29th, 2022.
