This just in-
Oscar winning composer Michael Giacchino is adding director to his resume. Reports indicate he’ll be in the hot seat for Marvel Studios’ upcoming “Werewolf By Night” Halloween special.
Starring “Mozart in the Jungle” star Gael García Bernal, this werewolf centric tale could possibly pull it’s inspiration from two different iterations from Marvel Comics.
The first, Jack Russell, comes from a 1972 issue of Marvel Spotlight, and ties into Moon Knight. The second, Jake Gomez, comes from 2021’s title. Gomez’s family (all members of the Hopi Tribe) has been cursed with lycanthropy. We’re kind of assuming a mix of both characters is likely.

That’s…sort of all we know at this point. We’re certainly interested to see what happens with this project, and how Giacchino does directing.
“Moon Knight” hits Disney+ on March 30th, 2022. Chances are, we’ll hear more about “Werewolf By Night” via that series. And….maybe some Blade updates.
