Season 3 of Bill Hader’s “Barry” can’t come soon enough! HBO announced when the affable assassin will return. It’s been three long years since we last left our anti-hero. Returning with him are Cousineau (Henry Winkler), Sally (Sarah Goldberg), Fuches (Stephen Root), and Noho Hank (Anthony Carrigan).

The show comes from Hader and Alec Berg. Berg served as executive producer on “Silicon Valley” and “Curb Your Enthusiasm.” In total, the show has swept up 25 award wins including 6 Primetime Emmys.

Season 2 saw Barry trying to balance acting class, his relationship with Sally, and getting embroiled in a turf war between the Burmese and Bolivian mobs. Oh yeah he also killed Gene’s lady love who just so happened to be an investigating detective. After a brutal murder spree and attempting to pursue Fuches, Barry has a lot to reckon with in this upcoming season.

We can’t wait to see what hitman hijinks are in store for the thespian terminator. The official release for the upcoming season is:

“Desperate to leave his violent past behind in favor of his newfound passion, Barry is attempting to untangle himself from the world of contract killing and fully immerse himself in acting. But getting out is messy. While Barry has eliminated many of the external factors that pushed him towards violence, he soon discovers they weren’t the only forces at play. What is it about his own psyche that led him to become a killer in the first place? Season three finds Barry and the other characters trying to make the right choice.“
“Barry” season 3 will premiere on HBO April 24th, 2022.
