This just in-
it would appear that Peter S. Beagle‘s iconic story “The Last Unicorn” is getting some new adaptations! According to Beagle’s official website, Fergie of Black Eyed Peas is currently working creating a stage musical based on the tale. And, if you can believe it, a live-action film as well!
Thats…sort of all we know. This could be a really interesting property to develop into a stage show. We’re not sure how we feel about a live-action adaptation, as the original animation is part of the beauty and magic.
Mia Farrow, Jeff Bridges, Angela Landsbury, Alan Arkin, Tammy Grimes and Christopher Lee stared in the original film.
Also, never forget that Stacy “Fergie” Ferguson starred on “Kids Incorporated.”

We’ll let you know what else we hear about this and other projects.
