GlobalComix Offers 70% Off Yearly Subscription for Limited Time!

Reading comics can be daunting if you aren’t used to picking them up every week at the local shop. Plus, a lot of comic stores only carry the ones they think will sell so A LOT of really good comics get skipped over. Unfortunately if it’s not DC, Marvel, Image or Dark Horse they tend to get swept under the rug a bit. Not on purpose of course but just in general. That’s why I was so glad when I found GlobalComix.

GlobalComix is a web based store where you can catch up on amazing new comics and publishers. They work with individuals as well as companies like Source Point Press and Heavy Metal. Their subscription service not only allows you to read everything they offer at no additional cost, but the money goes back to supporting the creators! And now for a limited time only, from November 26th, 2021 at 12:01am (EST), and running through December 6th, 2021 at 2:59am (EST), GlobalComix Gold yearly will be available to purchase at the low price of $24.99, which is 70% off the regular price of $89.99.

“We’re incredibly excited to offer readers a new way to support their favorite publishers and
creators through the GlobalComix Gold yearly subscription. 2021 has been a year of growth for
GlobalComix in all areas, and 2022 is promising to be even bigger,” said Christopher Carter,
CEO of GlobalComix. “The special pricing during our holiday promotion is the perfect time to
lock in access to unlimited reading on all comics, graphic novels and manga on GlobalComix for
    an entire year.”

One of the best perks is that you can access them wherever there is a connection either via your phones data plan or Wi-Fi. Being able to read comics on the go is a luxury that getting the paperback versions doesn’t allow. Sure you can haul them from place to place, but do you remember how heavy your bookbag used to get? Check out the video below to see how easy it is to read and zoom with GlobalComix online.

How does my subscription transfer to the creators?

GlobalComix is unique in that they take your total subscription revenue and split it between the publishers you read while on the platform. The way they explain it is if you read four comics from monetized publishers, they would take the overall percentage that you were on their published works and divvy out the payments according to that. So the money will go back into the books you spent the most time on.

You can read more about how they split it up here. It’s really nice to know that the money does go back to the creators so that they can keep making more of what we love.

This is something you’ll want to pick up as a gift for yourself or a friend this coming holiday. These are the kinds of stories that eventually get adapted to screen and ones that are exciting to get into before that happens. Personally, I’d love to find a print out confirming I have a subscription for GlobalComix in my Christmas Stocking and your nerdy loved ones will probably feel the same.
