Life-Sized Drivable Barbie Car Unveiled at The LA Auto Show

Ok so sometimes my readers will pick on me because I say life-sized when I’m talking about something big. This case though, it’s true. This week at the L.A. Auto show Mattel unveiled a life-sized version of Barbie’s Extra car.

I already know a couple people who would die to ride in this. Check it out below!

As you can see the exterior is holographic glitter and the rims are done in rainbow style. The interior is that famous Barbie Pink and it has fluffy headrests to boot. The front is the storage area where the announcer says that she can keep all of her shoes and accessories. This new car was based on the Fiat 500e. This car was designed and made to promote the brands new fashion design dolls.

This car is all electric and is good for 111 horsepower and 147 pound-feet of torque, and the standard car is good for 100 miles of range. This is probably a one off but we dream of it being available for purchase. I still covet that dang Pikachu car they had come out years ago. If I could get my hands on this I’d be the happiest girl in the world.
