If you love “Sonic the Hedgehog,” then you’re in luck! This year there has been a big push for new merchandise featuring the character. Part of that is because it’s Sonic’s 30th birthday! The other part is because the next “Sonic” film is due to come out next year. Wanting to celebrate the character and keep kids interested in the franchise a TON of great stuff is out and we wanted to highlight some of our favorites. All of these would be great gifts for those who already love or are soon to love the blue blur.

    The Encyclo-Speed-ia

    Amazon

This is a good gift for someone who likes to learn about nostalgia and history. Detailing everything from the creation to the current projects happening in the world of Sonic, this book will keep you reading until the very end.

    Numskull Gaming Locker

    JustGeek

If you have a hard time trying to find a spot for all your gaming accessories Numskull has come out with a pretty cool gaming locker. It features Sonic and Dr. Robotnik and has places for your controllers, headset and more.

    Clothes for Adults

    Amazon

Repping your favorite characters and wearing them on shirts is one of the fastest ways to make friends. And if anyone wants to make fast friends it’s Sonic! There lots of new shirts this year we particularly liked.

    Clothes for Kids

We’ve found some really cool clothes for girls and boys out this year. If you’re looking for Sonic clothes for kids in stores we suggest going to Walmart. Otherwise you can click here to find more options. If you’re looking for the girls sleep dress click here.

    Plushies!

    Gamestop

You can’t go wrong with a soft and cuddly plush. If you’re into Sonic and want to get a kid into it the first thing you can do is introduce them to the character with a sweet new toy. Perfect for those expecting a baby and it would definitely make you the cool family member.

    Bedding

    Amazon

Even though Sonic seems to speed through everything he still needs his rest. This twin bedding set comes with a reversible comforter, two standard pillow cases and one fitted and flat sheet.

    Pins

You can get a bunch of pins that can decorate backpacks, jackets, and a whole lot more. Tails, Sonic and Knuckles are available as FIGPINS.

    Playsets

    Amazon

There’s nothing like breaking out the toys and setting them up to play with them. This year a lot of cool playsets came out including this one with Sonic and Dr. Eggman.

    Charging Mat

    JustGeek

Gotta charge your phone fast? How about just sitting it down on this Sonic the Hedgehog charging mat?

    Bath Time Fun

Another great option for kids are these Tubbz rubber ducks designed to look like Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Super Sonic and Dr. Robotnik. These are a great way to act out story lines that you would see in the “Sonic the Hedgehog” TV shows and more! You can find Sonic ducks here.
