Oscar Mayer Reveals New Fashion Drop Based On Hotdogger Uniforms

Move aside overhyped streetwear drops and celebrity fashion collabs, Oscar Mayer has entered the chat, bringing meat to the streets to spark some much-needed smiles in the exclusive, hyper-serious world of streetwear.

For over 100 years, Oscar Mayer has injected levity into everyday moments – from creating the 27-foot-long rolling Wiener, to the unforgettable Bologna jingle, to photobombing New York Fashion Week this fall.

Next up? Street Meat, Oscar Mayer’s meat-inspired take on the gotta-cop-it streetwear trends of today.

The new 13-piece capsule collection features fresh silhouettes and bold colors that combine the hottest streetwear trends with meat-inspired touches, such as bucket hats, slides, track suits, bomber jackets and more. Street Meat was originally designed as the modern-day uniform for Oscar Mayer’s iconic Hotdoggers, the official drivers of the Wienermobile, who you’ll see debuting their new looks starting this week – new fits so fresh we knew fans would want to have them.

You’ll be able to find the drops here:

    • Los Angeles (9/29): 7315 Melrose Ave
    • Atlanta (9/30): Atlantic Station (1380 Atlantic Drive)
    • New York (10/1):  185 Bedford Ave, Brooklyn

“Oscar Mayer has a legacy of sparking smiles and bringing levity to things that have gotten too serious, and streetwear is a ripe territory to playfully subvert,” said Megan Lang, Associate Marketing Director, Oscar Mayer. “The ethos of streetwear is hyper-serious and hyper-exclusive, so we hope fans embrace the Oscar Mayer version of Meatwear and have a little more fun getting dressed this fall.”

Unlike typical streetwear drops, fans won’t have to camp out overnight, stand in long lines or constantly refresh their browsers to cop the merch, but they will need to hit the streets. Beginning today, the limited-edition collection can be found hiding in plain sight at hot dog carts in New York, Los Angeles, and Atlanta. Wienermobile pop-up shops will also sell the collection nationwide throughout October.
