GREAT NEWS EVERYONE! We’re getting a season season of Netflix’s hit docu series “Tiger King!” Attracting over 64 million households in the first four weeks of its March 2020 premiere, s2 promises more “madness and mayhem.”
Eric Goode and Rebecca Chaiklin are directing season 2. EPs include Chris Smith, Fisher Stevens, Goode and Chaiklin. This is a Goode Films Production in association with Library Films and Article 19 Films.
While Netflix didn’t announce a firm release date, we know it has to be sometime in the next three months simply by deduction. The question on everyone’s mind however is how many people will tune in this time.
When “Tiger King” first premiered it was during the beginning of the pandemic. Many people were isolating and businesses were shutting down all over the country. Now with things more opened up it will be a testament to what people really thought of the show. Whether or not they are truly interested in watching the drama between Joe Exotic and Carol Baskin ensue.
Since the first season premiered there has been a lot going on with the “Tiger King” cast. Like Exotic being incarcerated, Baskin being awarded full control of the zoo’s population, and some unfortunate deaths.
