Lunchables Toy Line Announces Limited Edition “Lunchabuild” Kits

Lunchables has decided that they’re no longer just the favorite lunch of children everywhere. They’re also a toy! They have designed and built kits that will allow you to make a rocket, the Eiffel Tower, and a penguin. Each kit is a limited edition, so if you want one, you’ll need to act fast.

Starting Friday, September 3rd at 11am (EST), these specialty Lunchabuilds kits will be available for purchase for $100 exclusively online at FAOSchwarz. Each kit contains the iconic snack, a blueprint, themed 3D puzzle, instant camera and comes with a one-of-a-kind experience that inspires kids’ creativity and imagination.

There are three different varieties of the Lunchabuilds kits- 10 of each- up to $2,050 in value (each comes with a $1,000 travel stipend):

    • The Explorer Kit: This space-centric kit comes with a real-life Space Camp galactic experience (e.g. Camp Kennedy Space Center, Space Center Houston or Virginia Space Flight Academy) and the kit comes with a rocket ship blueprint for kids to create with their snack while they wait for camp.
    • The Architect Kit: This budding builders’ kit comes with a real-life trip for kids and families to visit an architectural wonder in the U.S. (e.g. Empire State Building, Space Needle, Gateway Arch) and the kit comes with an Eiffel Tower blueprint for kids to create with their snack while they wait for their trip.;=[p-0=
    • The Biologist Kit: This animal lover kit comes with a visit to one of the best zoos in the country (e.g. San Diego Zoo, Bronx Zoo or Omaha Zoo) and a blueprint of a penguin for kids to create with their snack and be inspired before their trip.

Each kit comes with a $1,000 travel stipend to spend on something related to the kit. Like a trip to an architectural wonder of the world!

I hope that they do something about it being non transferable so that resellers won’t put them up on Ebay immediately. It’s always so disappointing to see people gouge the prices when something is supposed to be meant for fun, and in this case FOR KIDS.

Set your alarm for a little before 11am EST/8am PST to have a chance at getting one of these sets.
