Jet Pack Man Spotted At LAX… Again!

It would seem that despite an FBI investigation, there are still people willing to chance flying in a jet pack near the Los Angeles International Airport. We’re not sure if this is the same guy again who was seen in September and again in October of 2020. Or if this is yet another dare devil who wanted to try out their new wings. But regardless, this seems to be a running issue for the poor pilots at the airport.

On Wednesday evening, a pilot made the call that there was a “possible jet pack man in sight.” He then joked when reporting it that they did “not see Iron Man today.”

“A Boeing 747 pilot reported seeing an object that might have resembled a jet pack 15 miles east of LAX at 5,000 feet altitude,” a Federal Aviation Administration spokesperson said. “Out of an abundance of caution, air traffic controllers alerted other pilots in the vicinity.”

It’s one thing to do this out in the open but another thing completely to try and disrupt the air space of an air port. Like I said before previous sightings have launched an FBI investigation. But that doesn’t seem to deter whoever this is.

All I can say is that if you’re out there doing this.. be safe. And bonus points if you wear an Iron Man or Superman costume. Just be careful of the cape.
