Haunted Scottish Town is Selling for Less Than $200k

There is a haunted Scottish Town on the market for less than most California condos. This ancient, ruined village located in stunning Highland scenery on the shores of Loch Tay is currently listed for a sum of only $173,000. The Old Village of Lawers, Loch Tay, Perthshire is 3.31 acres, with remarkable historical and romantic connections, including its own ghost!

Some of the perks you would get from owning this land are:

    • Loch Tay frontage
    • Riparian Trout fishing rights
    • Area of historic interest with ruined buildings
    • Private beach
    • Semi-ancient native woodland
    • Grass paddock with potential planning opportunity.

Now I’m not going to say ghosts are real but if you believe, you’ll want to know what they mean when they say that this town is haunted. The land houses the famous ghost of a psychic known as the Lady of Lawers.

The Lady of Lawers predicted many things in her life that came true. One of the most popular ones was about a church that would fall when the ash tree planted nearby would grow to the height of the steeple. When the tree was big enough to meet that requirement a large storm passed through the area. The tree fell on the church and it was never used again.

If you need a place to connect to the Earth or just want to own something amazing for destination photoshoots then this property is for you. I know I can’t buy it but it sure is cool to look at. You can learn more about the listing here.
