Elephant Busts Through Kitchen Wall In Search of Snacks

I didn’t mean to find a video I could relate to online today but here we are. A video of an elephant in search of salty snacks is quickly going viral. The elephant broke into a home, through the wall like the Kool-Aid man, and started ravaging the cupboards looking for food.

This happened in the Thai village of Hua Hin. The elephant called Boonchuay is a local to the area and lives in the Kaeng Krachan National Park. At about 2 p.m. on Saturday the 19th the elephant burst through the wall. After poking their head through they started knocking over pots, pans and anything else it could get its trunk on. The resident, Ratchadawan Puengprasoppon, was able to get it all on film. I just hope they had elephant insurance, if that’s a thing.

Apparently when elephants can’t find enough salty snacks in the forest, they will venture out in search of some. This one just happened to smell them in Puengprasoppon’s kitchen.
