Farrelly Brothers’ “Kingpin” Sequel Reportedly Happening

Before you get too excited for this sequel, know there isn’t a whole lot of information yet. Anything could change, one way or another. BUT- if you loved Woody Harrelson‘s starring role in “Kingpin,” we’ve got some good news for you.

According to our friends over at Collider, the Farrelly Brothers are working on a sequel to the 1996 bowling film. The outlet claims exclusive knowledge of Peter and Bobby Farrelly currently ‘in development’ with Village Roadshow on the project.

So far, that’s the only ‘news’ we have? No word on possible returning cast, or what the story may be.

For the longest time, this is one of those mid-90s titles we thought was a fever dream. Starring Harrelson, Bill Murray, Randy Quaid, and Vanessa Angel, the film was directed by the Farrelly Brothers from a script by Barry Fanaro and Mort Nathan.
