Hot on the heels of the “Batman: Caped Crusader” news this morning, another massive DC Comics animated property is coming to HBO Max. A brand new Man of Steel animated series is also on the way, “My Adventures with Superman.”
Jack Quaid (“The Boys“) will voice mild mannered reporter Clark Kent, as well as his glasses-less Kryptonian counterpart, Kal-El aka Superman.
THR says he series is described as a kids-and-family animated series following 20-something versions of Superman, Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen “as they begin to discover who they are and everything they can accomplish together as an investigative reporting team at the Daily Planet.”
Warner Bros. Animation President Sam Register said of the project:
“This is the first animated Superman series in many years and we want to tell our Superman story through the trio of Clark, Lois and Jimmy – whose relationship dynamic will allow for rich, serialized and engaging stories as we explore their lives as individuals and their journey together as friends.”
