Do you ever listen to something and feel so taken back to your childhood even though it’s new? Well that’s what Garbage has made me feel with this new song of theirs. “No Gods, No Masters” is a great sounding song that is going to have you re-listening to all their previous hits. Shirley Manson and the rest of the band really make this video look and sound like something you’d have watched in their heyday. Honestly, we’re living for this.
With dark imagery and cool colors they feel like they’re going back to their roots as a band. The song says you control your own destiny and to take control of that without apology. Singing lines like “The future is mine just the same, No master or gods to obey, I’ll make all the same mistakes, Over and over again”, this track is going to be one that you’ll have on repeat.
