Is Charlie Cox’s Daredevil Showing up in “Spider-Man 3!?!”

This is a rumor we’ve heard not infrequently since Netflix’s ownership rights of “Marvel’s Daredevil” starring Charlie Cox reverted to Disney. Is Charlie, the most recent person to portray the Man Without Fear, gonna show up in an upcoming Marvel Studios MCU title? This seems like a no-brainer, considering how popular the Netflix series (and subsequent “Marvel’s The Defenders“) was, and just how eager Cox is to pick up the batons again.

The rumor has popped up again in conjunction with “Spider-Man 3,” which is currently filming. Mostly because ComicBook claims Cox was spotted on set, and therefor MUST be reprising his Daredevil / Matt Murdock role.

Obviously, this is far from a confirmed fact, but- wouldn’t it be AWESOME if it was true?!

Like…what if Spider-Man 3 has Kingpin as a villain, bringing back the BRILLIANT Vincent D’Onofrio (as well as the million-other-characters showing up in this film), and then Daredevil shows up to help Peter (Tom Holland) out and….what? We’re just spitballin’ here.

Anyhow, we’ll let you know what we hear about this possible casting rumor.

“Spider-Man 3” is set to hit theaters on December 17th, 2021. But we’re expecting a delay on it.

She eventually transitioned to online media, writing for such sites as UGO/IGN, ComicsOnline, Geek Magazine, Ace of Geeks, Aggressive Comix (where she is still Editor-in-Chief), Bleeding Cool (where she was News Editor), and now Nerdbot as Editor-In-Chief. Over the past 10 years, she’s built a reputation at conventions across the globe as a cosplayer (occasionally), photographer (constantly), panelist and moderator (mostly), and reporter (always). Interviews, reviews, observations, breaking news, and objective reporting are the name of the game for the founder of Harkonnen Knife Fight, a Dune-themed band with an international presence. Though she be but little, she is fierce.
