“Promised Neverland” Box Set is Full of Details You May Have Missed

“Promised Neverland” is one of the best animes that came out of the 2019 line up. It’s full of horror and mystery and you can’t help but get into it. In a world where these kids need to fight for their lives, you get hooked and can’t look away, no matter how messed up the story gets. Best part is that they are working on season two as we speak. And we have a lovely box set for season one that we can watch over and over again to get us ready for it.

The set is full of little nuances that you don’t get to see fully in the show. My favorite part of the set has to be the booklet that comes with the traditional images of the character designs and episode descriptions. But it also comes with in depth blue prints and sketches of the house that they are all living in. Some of the scenes in the show are very dark to add to to the eerie quality of the show so seeing all the details can be a challenge. But in the booklet you get beautiful drawn out details of each room.

As far as the specs of the discs, you get both subbed and dubbed of all twelve episodes of the first season. The run time is 270 minutes so that’s a full 4.5 hours of content. It can be binge watched in a day which to be honest, you may want to do. Only because this show will keep you on the edge of your seat. I can’t tell you how hard it was to watch it weekly when it first broadcast, I wanted to know what happened!

The set comes with bonus content such as textless openings and endings so that you can fully appreciate the art that went into making them. A trailer for season two(heck yes!), and an English Dub trailer of that as well. It also comes with a Japanese and English Mix-up Video.

You can pick up your own copy of the “Promised Neverland” box set here. This set is very pretty, and a good one to have on hand incase the internet goes out. Plus- since it’s got kind of a spooky vibe you can watch it for Halloween time easily.
