There’s one thing that fully traumatized me growing up and that was watching Casper the Friendly Ghost. How you may ask? Well let me tell you about a little episode where he meets Ferdie the fox. Long story short, Ferdie dies and becomes ghost friends with Casper. But boy did I cry. It was when I was about 5 I found a VHS tape at my grandmas and put it in the VCR not knowing that I would forever be scarred emotionally by it. Well now I can own my very own Funko pop of Casper and you know what? I’m going to get it.
Entertainment Earth has these coming out in October so just in time for Halloween. It’s a cute pop because not only is it of a beloved character but he also comes with a stand to make it look like he’s flying.
Casper has long been a staple of our childhood’s and if it wasn’t the old cartoon from 1945 it was definitely the film “Casper” from 1995. That movie was a gateway for a lot of us to discover things about ourselves. Like how much we equally loved Christina Ricci and Devon Sawa… Anyway back to the Funko.
