    Target Opens Pre-Orders for Star Wars Merchandise Exclusives

    With the promise of lots of new Star Wars content just over the horizon on Disney+, fans of the galaxy far, far away need have no fear of waiting for merchandise in the meantime. Target announced their latest line of Star Wars exclusives and there is a lot to look forward to! 

    For all you droid lovers out there, the Galaxy’s Edge Hyperdrive BB Unit remote control droid is just the treat for you. With sounds, lights and a functioning “Hyper Drive” mode, this is a fun toy for adult fans and kids alike. The BB Unit retails for $99.99 and is available for pre-order here.

    Star Wars Black Series collectors have two awesome additions to snag from this collection. The DJ R-3X Droid figure sports three pincer arms and a cool set of headphones to spin at all of his gigs in Oga’s Cantina at the Blackspire Outpost. Pre-orders for this figure have sold out at $24.99, but he is expected to hit shelves on August 30, 2020. Also, and unfortunately, the Captain Cardinal (MSRP $24.99)figure has sold out its pre-orders,but is also expected to make it to brick and mortar locations on August 30 and can be checked on here.

    Funko is also making the Target exclusive scene with their Galaxy’s Edge R5 Unit POP! Figure. This handsome little droid sold out it’s pre-orders but will arrive in stores in limited quantities on August 30 for just $8.99.

    LEGO would never want to miss the chance at a Star Wars exclusive, so of course they are providing an awesome vehicle for fans to pick up. The Resistance I-TS Transport will stand about 3 inches wide, 13.5 inches long and 6 inches across and comes with four minifigs. It should be a moderately relaxed build at 932 pieces and will retail for $99.99. Get your pre-order in for this build here.

    And finally, the highlight of the entire collection: The Star Wars Vintage Collection Galaxy’s Edge Millenium Falcon Smuggler’s Run Kenner playset. This vintage-look set comes complete with a Han Solo and Chewbacca action figure and four porgs. Fans can choose between vintage sound effects from the movie or those used at the Galaxy’s Edge Disney Theme Park Ride. This incredible 3.75 scale playset retails for $399.99, and while the pre-orders have sold out, you can stay up-to-date on  in-store availability here.
