With the announcement that “Cobra Kai” season 3 would be headed to Netflix after being on YouTube, we were all wondering when they would drop the first two seasons. There was debate over whether Hulu or Netflix would win out in the end but our good friend Netflix was able to pick up the series. We knew it would be in August, just not when exactly. But, now we know!

    #CobraKai Seasons 1 & 2 are coming to Netflix on August 28!

“Cobra Kai“is the follow up story to “The Karate Kid.” It’s set 30 years after the events of the 1984 All-Valley Karate Tournament. Presented in an episodic format it follows the life of Johnny.

The series stars Ralph Macchio and William Zabka, reprising their roles as Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence. Martin Kove also joined the series at the end of Season 1, reprising the role of sensei John Kreese. It also stars Xolo Maridueña, Courtney Henggeler, Tanner Buchanan, Mary Mouser, Nicole Brown, and Jacob Bertrand.

What do you think of Netflix having Cobra Kai!? Are you excited to watch it? Tell us in the comments if you are!
