I stumbled across these on Amazon and I have to say they are some of the smartest cosplay accessories I’ve seen in a long time. They are essentially socks that go over your shoe. They work with heels or flats which is great because for real, if you’re going to a convention and are going to be walking around it’s better to grab a pair of flats while you’re not posing for pics.
These are a great price when you compare them to actual boots or if you want to go super comfy, converse. At just a fraction of the cost you can pull off scouts like Mercury, Moon, Chibi Moon, and Sailor Saturn. Though for Saturn you will have to get some fabric markers and color in the white stripe around the top if you want it to look more canon. Also will have to draw on some laces.
They also have the other colors like Jupiter, Mars and Venus which would be really cool if you wanted to cosplay the original dolls that came out in the US and Canada, but if you want to go for the shows aesthetic you’re going to have to find some other options. Luckily Mar’s shoes are literally just red pumps and Jupiter you can get combat boots and spray paint them green. Venus you can do a low heel and get a little wrap for your ankle.
