Pablo Escobar’s Brother Suing Apple for Security Breach That Nearly Cost Him His Life

One thing I never thought I would write has been checked off my list. Today we learned via TMZ that Pablo Escobar‘s brother is suing Apple for the tune of 2.6 Billion dollars. Why? Because according to him a security breach nearly cost him his life. Roberto Escobar is the biological older brother of the deceased kingpin.

Roberto Escobar is suing Apple because his address was attainable through the Facetime app. He found the compromised information was available after launching his own investigation. He had started looking into the phone and software involved after receiving a life threatening letter from someone named Diego.

Roberto isn’t just suing for the money he had to spend on security to keep himself safe after the safety breach, but also for emotional strain and because an Apple employee said that his information would be safe. It should be noted that before buying the Iphone X in 2018 Roberto had several life threatening events happen to him. He has a long history or assassination attempts prior to this.

To top it all off he is also trying to get Apple where it hurts by starting his own “Apple” company. He has bought the domain www.ripapple.com which links to his own version of the phone. And it’s gold plated. Here is the listing off of the site escobarinc.com which the ripapple domain leads to.

The OFFICIAL ESCOBAR GOLD 11 PRO smartphone is the real APPLE KILLER phone. Rest In Peace Apple, Pablo always wins. This is an incredible phone, at a competitive price. THIS IS AN ORIGINAL APPLE IPHONE 11 PRO THAT HAS BEEN 24K GOLD PLATED. FREE SHIPPING WORLDWIDE! WORKS WORLDWIDE ON ALL NETWORKS. UNLOCKED.

PHONE IS AN AUTHENTIC ORIGINAL APPLE IPHONE 11 PRO, COMES WITH LUXURY WOODEN BOX, HEADPHONES AND CHARGER.

ALL PHONES ARE TESTED AND WORK 100% ASSEMBLED TO PERFECTION WITH THREE (3) LAYERS OF GOLD PLATING.

And above we have the commercial for the Escobar version of the phone. Which tells you exactly what angle he’s using when he sells the phone…

This isn’t even the first time he’s tried to take down a major company. Just last year he also tried to take down Elon Musk over a flamethrower he said he and his late brother Pablo designed. So it’s very likely he’s doing this for more attention to his company so he can sell his own version of the Iphone.
