If you were a 90’s kids odds are you ate some Dunkaroos. They got us excited earlier this year when they announced they would be back this summer. And they surprised us again by releasing a whole month earlier than expected!

“We know people are looking for delicious comfort foods and even a little bit of fun,” says Dan Stangler, business unit director, Indulgent Snacks at General Mills. “To thank those who have been eagerly awaiting the return of Dunkaroos, we’re excited to offer a limited batch a few weeks ahead of schedule that can be ordered from the comfort of home.”

“Dunkaroos will be available at participating 7-Eleven stores in late May and rolling out nationwide to other convenience stores and grocery retailers in July.”

Dunkaroos came out in 1992 and like the name implies they are meant to be dunked. They come with cookies and vanilla icing that you can dunk to your hearts content. It was a fun lunch box item and now is sure to be one of your kids favorite snacks. They had other flavors of icing like Strawberry and Chocolate, but for now we can look forward to eating some delicious Vanilla.

Keep your eyes peeled as they start rolling out soon!
