One Punch Man the popular manga and anime from ONE and illustrator Yusuke Murata is getting a film adaptation from Sony. They have tapped the duo behind Venom, Scott Rosenberg and Jeff Pinkner to write the script.
Avi Arad and Ari Arad of Arad Productions will produce the film adaptation.
One Punch Man was launched in 2009 as a web comic about a man named Saitama. He can defeat any foe with a single punch but grows bored and seeks out a bigger challenge.
In 2012, One Punch Man was published by Jump Next and had ONE team up with Yusuke Murata to illustrate the manga. In 2015 it came to American Audiences with VIZ Media and has since been adapted as an anime and several video games.
