Idris Elba is the latest celebrity to test positive for the coronavirus. He made the announcement Monday.

This morning I tested positive for Covid 19. I feel ok, I have no symptoms so far but have been isolated since I found out about my possible exposure to the virus. Stay home people and be pragmatic. I will keep you updated on how I’m doing 👊🏾👊🏾 No panic. pic.twitter.com/Lg7HVMZglZ

“This morning I tested positive for Covid 19,” he wrote. “I feel ok, I have no symptoms so far but have been isolated since I found out about my possible exposure to the virus.”

He said he didn’t have any symptoms but he was exposed to someone who had it. He got tested so that he could be safe and he received a positive test. It’s important to get tested if you know that you have been exposed to it even if you don’t show symptoms. He seems positive in the video but he also emphasizes how serious this is.

He’s now under quarantine with Sabrina who he says has not been tested but feels ok.

Not long ago Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson also tested positive for COVID-19 while they were working on the new Elvis Biopic from Warner Bros. They were filming in Austrailia when they were exposed to a crew member who had it. This is why many studios are shutting down production so that the spread of Coronavirus is limited and contained.

    Some tips:

Get all your groceries in one outing, don’t go out unless you have to.

    Wash your hands

If you feel like you may have it or are showing symptoms please call your local nurse hotline.
