Princess Bride-opoly Exists, Here’s How to Track Down a Copy

If you weren’t keen on when this came out then don’t worry, you’re not alone. Unfortunately I missed when this board game first released so my dreams of paying what the retail price was are dashed. That doesn’t mean however that I have to spend a crazy amount of money for the game. There are ways you can be savvy about it if you know where to look.

    • A CLASSIC GAME FOR A CLASSIC MOVIE: In the “Opoly” tradition by with lots of Princess Bride memories
    • QUOTE-FUL: Enjoy your journey with all your favorite Princess Bride quotes
    • GIFT-ABLE: Perfect present for passionate Princess Bride fans
    • AGES 14 & UP: Recommended for teens, young adults, and adults; for 2-5 players
    • DELUXE: Deluxe full color collectible game published 2015

Now this one is pretty obvious because you could technically just hit up Ebay. I was able to find it for only around $40 plus shipping. Which isn’t actually that bad for a Monopoly variation when you consider some of the newer versions go for around $30 – $50 right out of the gate.

There is another site that was linked to the Amazon Page for the game called Toy Vault, which was created in 1998. They have a Facebook and Twitter if you want to check them out further. They are selling the game for $44.99 and seem to have plenty of copies on hand.

If you did want to check out some newer versions of Monopoly, Fun.com has a bunch on sale. And they are all fandom related so if you are looking for a gift for someone and they like board games this should be a good fit.
