I mean when someone says Tom Hanks what movie pops into your head? For me it will always be The Burbs, but for some it could be Big, Toy Story, Cast Away, Apollo 13, Forrest Gump and the list goes on. No doubt that this guy has had an amazing career and has been dubbed America’s Uncle.
He’s had an amazing movie career, over 50 awards have been won and he’s been nominated many times for Golden Globes and Academy Awards. Safe to say that he is well decorated actor. But there’s one more award that this lovable actor is going to win.
Next year at the Golden Globes in January he is going to be honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award. Hollywood Foreign Press Academy (HFPA) has commented that they are proud to give this award to Tom. Also they have grown to love and admire Tom as well.
