Alex Trebek Get’s Emotional Over Contestants Final Answer

On Monday we all knew it was going to be a bleak day. Because Alex would be leaving us again to continue his cancer treatments. Back in March Alex announced that he was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. In August he returned to do the tournament of Champions but sadly the cancer has indeed come back. 

Now we all couldn’t see through our tears when one contestant who in final Jeopardy did this.

Gaur took to twitter to respond to why he did this. 

…for context, Alex had just shared with us that he was reentering treatment for pancreatic cancer. We were all hurting for him so badly. 2/n

We Love you Alex! According to Buzzfeed the contestants are very fond of Alex and are organizing for viewers to donate $1 to the Lustgarden Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research for every right answer they have.
