Universal Studios is Serving Up Some Spookily Themed Food

Universal Studios is now offering some cool treats themed after Stranger Things, Ghostbusters, and Killer Klowns. If you are planning on a spooky expenditure to the lot this year you should check out these odd looking foods that you can use to fuel your horror filled night.

    Stranger Things Upside Down Burger

This burger boasts a much more tasty reputation than the upside down whopper they were selling at Burger King. You can find this one available at the Starcourt Mall(Lower Lot). The Upside Down Burger is a juicy beef patty, creamy cheddar cheese sauce, and a good dusting of Flamin’ Hot Cheetos with lettuce and tomato on a brioche bun. Served upside down, of course.

    Slimer’s Dirty Water Dog

Well the title of it is just yuck, but looking at what the actual ingredients are saves it a little. You can pick this up at the Halloween Horror Bites(Metro Set). This is for guests so hungry they could devour an entire room-service cart full of food. This ¼ lb hot dog is dripping with green slime (relax, it’s just a cheese sauce) and topped with delicious roasted red peppers.

    Killer Klowns Cocoon Doughnut

There is a doughnut inside this somewhere… The base is a yeast raised doughnut filled with delectable raspberry jam, topped with vanilla frosting and encased in a swathe of sweet pink cotton candy. Of course we had to stick a silly straw in it. You can find this at the Killer Snacks Cart in the Metro Set.

    Mind Flayer’s Milkshake

It’s a dark milkshake that looks a little like a mind flayer. Cute! It’s drizzled with strawberry sauce, topped with chocolate whipped cream, crushed up Oreo cookies, and finished with a black waffle cone and black licorice “tendrils” shooting out in every direction. This dessert will get into your head and stay there for a while. They say that it’s cold, “just how he likes it”, so you may want to take your time to avoid brain freeze. Or just pretend you’re Eleven with a headache. Pick this up at the Lower Lot at Studio Scoop.

    Zuul’s Countertop Egg Sandwich

Basically a breakfast sandwich. A warm fried egg, juicy turkey sausage, and cheddar cheese are sandwiched in a brioche bun with a chipotle aioli and caramelized onions. And it comes with a side of fries. Get this at Halloween Horror Bites in the Metro Set.

    Eleven’s Waffle Sundae

Vanilla ice cream coated in sticky strawberry syrup and topped with jelly beans, chocolate chips, and Reese’s Pieces. Sounds Yummy! You can find this at Scoops Ahoy in the Lower Lot at Studio Scoop.

Do you want to try any of these cool treats? Have you tried them already? Tell us in the comments which one is your favorite!
