Comedic Actress Cassandra Peterson, better known as Elvira, first appeared as the horror vixen icon in the early 80’s. Introducing a slew of campy horror and sci-fi movies with twisted naughty humor for television.
Since then she has earned her very own feature film, and now makes a variety of public appearances. Her image became iconic and you can recognize her instantly as she became plastered all over various merchandise.

Now Peterson has made plans to create an autobiography detailing her thrilling adventures as the character Elvira as well as other personal details.

I’m busier than ever writing away on my autobiography. I now have a DEAD-line from my publishers so no more messing around.

She added, “My book is due at the end of February so we can have a Halloween 2020 release!”

Cassandra worked with her friend Robert Redding to create the Elvira character. Her look being heavily inspired by former horror host Vampira. Peterson incorporated a “Valley Girl” persona into a Goth Queen which created the successful icon that is now Elvira.
Needless to say, this autobiography is surely going to be a long awaited piece of work that many will get their hands on… and they only have to wait one more year!

My book is due at the end of February so we can have a Halloween 2020 release!
