Rose McGowan who is best known for her acting work in Charmed and Death Proof has switched gears and decided to start directing. She lead the project recently on a breakout short film called Dawn and with a taste of what it’s like working behind the camera is now hooked. She told Hollywood Reporter that her next project will be an animated series about a dog.
The feature will focus on none other than a Pomeranian. The cartoon is to focus on a war between the Queen of Pomerania and Muttlandia.
“It’s about a little dog who hides in the closet, and once she comes out of the closet she becomes the queen of a land called Pomerania. And she’s at war with Muttlandia, where all the mutts are. So, it’s all about race, breed, classism — and it’s very funny.”

She is also going to be working on a psychological horror project called Sleepwalk. She will be collaborating with Joshua Miller and Mark Fortin. The project features a young girl who blurs the line of reality and dreaming.
It sounds like she is very busy and that is good considering she was, as she puts it “blacklisted” for outing sexual misconduct. She was also recently audibly upset over the new Charmed reboot that happened. It’s good to see that things are working out on her end and we will get to see more art from the Hollywood actress.
