The Dungeons & Dragons Movie Finds Two New Directors

John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein are now in talks to direct the upcoming Dungeons & Dragons film for Paramount Pictures. They will be replacing Chris McKay who was originally signed onto the project. McKay left to focus solely on the Skydance movie “Ghost Draft”, which will star Chriss Pratt.

According to Variety the timing of this works out since the two just left the Flash movie over creative differences. Writing the script will be Micheal Gillio. Producing will be Hasbro’s Brian Goldner and Stephen Davis.

The movie will be the first endeavor of Hasbro’s new production company Allspark Pictures. If this goes well we may be able to see more films based around Hasbro properties. Since launching last October the company plans to grow to rival Marvel Studios, which would be an impressive feat in itself.

Dungeons & Dragons has long been a game coveted by many players. It brings you into a world of adventure and fantasy and allows you to throw yourself head first into a journey you get to create yourself. So far there is no word on what the script will be about or what kind of story we will witness. Casting to be announced.
