Finding a good puzzle game is a harder task than you might think. But once you find one, an addictive puzzler is often impossible to put down. Other darmowe automaty do gier (free vending machines) games are also very fun to play.

That’s the case with most of these PS4 puzzle games. In this article, we’ve come up with a list of the 10 top puzzle games currently on PS4 as well as some titles you might also like if you enjoy the named game.

There’s something for every type of gamer, from those that like a little bit of story to those that want nothing more than pure puzzler action. Still, we realize that some gamers like to break it up so not every puzzle game on this list is a Tetris style game – some of them are games that can help you train your brain, without having the same formula over and over again.

In this article we will tell you about:

    • 10 best PS4 games for puzzle lovers
    • Why they’re so good and why we recommend them
    • Three other games you should consider trying out

    10. Sparkle 2

This is a chained orb game along the lines of Zuma (for those veteran puzzle gamers among us). The mechanics are pretty much the same and there really isn’t much variance from that classic formula. One thing that Sparkle 2 has going for it is a pretty awesome atmosphere and more content than you could possibly finish in one sitting.

You’re probably going to like this game if you also enjoy:

    • Spelunker HD
    • Draw Slasher
    • Death Under the Labyrinth

    9. Q.U.B.E. Director’s Cut

A physics-based puzzle game that rewards intuitive understanding of its in-game systems, Q.U.B.E. Director’s Cut is pretty much the definitive version of the game. We recommend this one even though you can find a version of the title on pretty much every system since the PS3.

You’re probably going to like this game if you also enjoy:

    • Foul Play
    • Space Hulk
    • Quantum Conundrum

    8. Splice

The central conceit of this game is arranging cells into corresponding structures. Think of it like Tetris but with a genetics bend to it. What makes Splice so cool is how complex and weird it gets the further you advance in the game. If you’re looking for a puzzle game that is much different from the others on this list, we recommend Splice.

You’re probably going to like this game if you also enjoy:

    • Hex Cells
    • Strata
    • Magnetis

    7. Hue

A puzzle game that involves a world of gray that has to be filled with color, Hue involves unlocking new colors to solve obstacles as you encounter them in the game. Oddly beautiful and totally compelling in terms of gameplay, Hue shows you what interesting things developers can do with puzzler mechanics. If you want a blend of platforming/adventure title with puzzle elements, Hue is a great option.

You’re probably going to like this game if you also enjoy:

    • Unravel
    • Ori and the Blind Forest
    • Celeste

    6. Darknet

What do strategy gaming, puzzles, and a slight hacker/cyberpunk vibe have to do with a game? That’s basically Darknet in a nutshell and it is one trippy game. Like Splice, this game makes you think and you won’t even be able to play past a certain point if you don’t master the mechanics early on. Nonetheless, this is a rewarding, addictive game that we can’t help but recommend.

You’re probably going to like this game if you also enjoy:

    • Shift Quantum
    • HOST
    • LYNE

    5. Semispheres

Billing itself as a meditative, dual-reality puzzle game, Semispheres is basically a complex matching game with a ton of atmosphere. If that sounds like your kind of thing, then Semispheres might be the thing for you though we have to say that it ventures beyond mere puzzle game and reminds us of the classic PC adventure point-and-click titles like Return to Zork and The 7th Guest.

You’re probably going to like this game if you also enjoy:

    • The Talos Principle
    • Kairo
    • The 7th Guest

    4. Linelight

This game involves light and lines in an abstract mixture of the mechanics of Centipede and the sensibilities of Tetris. It needs to be experienced to be believed but it wins you over in the end with its incredibly quirky, addictive gameplay.

You’re probably going to like this game if you also enjoy:

    • Red Rope: Don’t Fall Behind
    • Adventure Time: Magic Man’s Head Games
    • ChromaGun

    3. Lumines Remastered

If any modern game has done a great job of capturing the magic of Tetris, it is Lumines. Lumines Remastered is everything you love about the title puzzle game with more stuff on top of it. More to do, more to see, and all the puzzle gameplay you could possibly want. As soon as you grasp the Lumines concept, you’ll be hooked.

You’re probably going to like this game if you also enjoy:

    • Nidhogg 2
    • Light Fall
    • Runbow

    2. Puyo Puyo Tetris

The combination of a Puyo game and a Tetris game, Puyo Puyo Tetris brings the blob matching world together with the Tetris blocks for a mixed media game that deftly uses the components of both games to great effect. The first Tetris game to appear on Sega systems, Puyo Puyo Tetris is best enjoyed by gamers that have worn out the traditional Tetris formula and want something a little more.

You’re probably going to like this game if you also enjoy:

    • Octomania
    • Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix
    • Planet Puzzle League

    1. Tetris Effect

What can you say about the best puzzle game series of all time? Tetris Effect is basically a modern twist on the classic formula and it is a bonkers experience at that. If you want a game that will elevate your Tetris experience and present you with entirely new ways of playing the game that you never considered before, this is your ticket. Aside from being a great puzzle game, it is also an audio visual experience with a great OST and bright, vibrant, pulsing colors that will keep you hooked for hours.

You’re probably going to like this game if you also enjoy:

    • Gorogoa
    • Tetris Attack
    • Threes
