‘Coming To America 2’ Pushed Back to December 2020

Eddie Murphy’s Coming to America 2 will now be released in December 2020 instead of the aforementioned August 2020 date.

According to the Exhibitor Relations Twitter Account:

That Sexual Chocolate reunion tour will have to wait. COMING 2 AMERICA has been pushed back 4 months, to the holiday season–Dec. 18, 2020, from Aug. 7.

This will put the movie in direct competition with West Side Story, The Croods 2, and Cruella. The month of December is generally a good month for cinema and it should do well.

Coming to America is set to hit theaters December 18, 2020.
