‘Game of Thrones’ Documentary Arriving One Week After Series Finale

It has been a long wait for the return of our favorite HBO series, Game of Thrones. I have had sleepless nights wondering what will happen next and began writing my own fanfictions because it’s been over a year already. (Sarcasm/Kinda)

Time to get serious here guys because the time is finally embarking us. April 14th, season 8 will air, but sadly it will be the last season. Also, this last season is only giving us 6 episodes to really take all this in. I know you are not ready, because I am not either. There is some good news though, that I am pretty stoked for, so please don’t be too sad yet.

Fortunately we won’t have to wait too long for an HBO behind-the-scenes documentary about the making of Game of Thrones a week after the finale. HBO announced this series this Wednesday and they were nice and even gave us an air date. HBO will debut a two-hour documentary “chronicling the creation of the show’s most ambitious and complicated season”  on Sunday, May 26 at 9 PM.

The documentary “delves deep into the mud and blood to reveal the tears and triumphs involved” in making the last season. HBO stated this won’t be “a standard ‘making of’ documentary,” it will be “a funny, heartbreaking story, told with wit and intimacy, about the bittersweet pleasures of what it means to create a world – and then have to say goodbye to it.”

Will you be watching the documentary? Let Nerdbot know in the comments.
