The Ultimate Playlist to Prepare You for ‘Endgame’

If you are like most normal people, you are waiting with baited breath to find out exactly what is going to happen with Avengers: Endgame. In Infinity War (SPOILER) we saw a lot of our beloved heroes die. It was enough of a shock for people to warrant spiraling into a deep depression. I know for me I can’t even watch the last ten minutes of the film. I am still in denial about what happened at the end of that movie and in my bubble they are all still living happily. Thanos never snapped and life is good. But reality is something I have had to come to terms with thanks to all of your Thanos memes and while I am a bit bitter, now I have a much lighter point of view on what happened. Enough so that I am able to write you a list of “Best Songs to get you ready for Avengers: Endgame”. Here we go!

Dust in the Wind – Kansas

Ok Ok this was an obvious one. And yes I am trolling you but hey are we not all just “Dust in the Wind” at this point. I mean who really knows who would have survived? Even the website DidThanosKillMe has told me I died in the snap. Speaking of Snap…

I Got the Power – Snap

This one works on two levels. It’s called I Got the Power, to defeat Thanos.. And it’s by a band called Snap. I don’t know if there is such thing as prophecy but I certainly hope our heroes will “Have the Power”.

When it’s Over – Sugar Ray

When it’s over, is it really over? Is it? Please tell me? I can’t deal with anymore death! Plus when you add the prospect of a Tony/Pepper Wedding it gets even more real.

Famous Last Words – My Chemical Romance

“I am not afraid to keep on Living”, is a haunting line when we know that at least one Avenger isn’t going to make it. What will they say at the end? What words will stab us through the heart?

    The End – The Doors

What better song to signal the coming of an apocalypse than The End by The Doors. This song has a reputation for bringing a creepy otherworldly vibe to the most iconic scenes.

Knights in White Satin – Moody Blues

Knights in White Satin, Never reaching the end. This one I picked because of their cool new outfits showcased in the trailer for Endgame. The suits have still not been explained but white usually signifies hope and rebirth, unless you are in China where it means death. Let’s hope it’s not that. Also you know, this song is amazing.

Know Your Enemy – Green Day

Do you know your enemy? Here’s a spoiler.. It’s THANOS. I would argue that you should always listen to Green Day’s 21st Century Breakdown but I just love that album. The ENTIRE album. Fight me.

Bring Me to Life – Evanescence

Can you hear the wishes of the dead Avengers? Bring Me to Life is the sounds of their souls screaming to come back. Or at least.. It is to me. “I can’t wake up.. Save me from the nothing I’ve become”.

    Rearranged – Limp Bizkit

Life is overwhelming, heavy is the head that wears the crown. With so many heroes gone it is now time for those who are left to try and put the pieces back together. They can’t move forward until they try “Whatever it Takes”.

    I Disappear – Metallica

Let’s end this on kind of a more Metal note. One song that will get you amped but still bring reality crashing down around you. Man I love Metallica. And Avengers. Let’s hope we get to see them kicking some major ass.

Avengers:Endgame comes out in theaters April 26th.

What did you think of the song choices? Tell us what you would have picked in the comments!
