Hi! I am the Managing Editor for Nerdbot.com I enjoy watching anime, learning about new things and keeping up with Nerd Culture. I love writing and hope to introduce people to things that they may not have known about before through my articles.

Netflix put out a video on YouTube of everything to come January of 2019 with quite the surprise at the end.

The Punisher was previously released in November of 2017,  so one would have assumed that they would have kept with that tradition. Whatever their reasoning they have decided to grace us with the new Season in January and while I’m not complaining, it does come with a sense of dread.

No official date is stated on the video for the new season of Punisher.

The Punisher is one of the only Marvel titles left in the catalog that are still up in the air,  Jessica Jones being the other. What people are assuming is that once these shows air that will be the end. Netflix will cancel and everything will then be moved over to the new Disney Streaming platform that is supposed to be going public sometime next year.  Hopefully Disney will continue the production of these shows because I can’t imagine a world without Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, or Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock.
