He Claimed He Saw a Monster, A Horrible Christmas Tree of a Monster

Earlier this week a tweet from Chris Cason reminded us that in the year 2000 Japan made the most epic Christmas Tree. Complete with red glowing eyes and atomic breath this kaiju Christmas tree is definitely a sight to behold.

It was created for the Aqua City Odaiba shopping center in Japan. Unfortunately this image runs 18 years back and the tree has not been updated since. But if you are willing to take on your own epic Christmas tree project hopefully here is some inspiration. While this may be considered old news there have been several Japanese bloggers uploading new pictures of the amazing tree lately.

Godzilla tree may make a comeback as soon as next year with the big sequel to Godzilla, King of the Monsters set to premiere.
