Mandalorian and Grogu is just a very long, boring, safe, forgettable, meaningless space romp, not good enough to be remembered but not bad enough to be panned. It just exists, stuck in a misused format with its Star Wars heart ripped out and replaced with carefully curated content metrics.

Is God Is is a bold, stylish tale of revenge that unapologetically allows women to let slip the dogs of justified anger and passion. It is an angry, angry film, filled with rage against the machine of misogyny, the patriarchy, cyclical violence inflicted by violent unaccountable men.
Simply put, Mortal Kombat 2 is pretty bad, but it’s also somehow not the worst Mortal Kombat movie out there.
The Devil Wears Prada 2 is not a bad film. It’s got all the things general audiences want and is sure to make a gazillion dollars. It also has its heart in the right place and is doing more to defend journalistic integrity than pretty much anyone else in power pretends to be doing. But it also just can’t escape its own trappings, sorely lacking the dynamism that made the first one work so well and last so long.
Blue Heron is a poignant, moving story of family, struggle, and fractured memory, culminating in a profound examination of what we remember and how we remember those closest in our lives.
As an exercise in uncomfortable tension, The Drama is excellent. But as an exploration of its darker concepts, it struggles to fully understand or engage with them.
