We’ve largely accepted that there will not be a single in-person event or convention in 2020. This is for the best, obviously, as there is still no viable vaccine for the worldwide pandemic that is still crippling the United States. [Please- wash your damn hands and wear your damn mask.] New York Comic Con is the next large-scale convention on the calendar, and this morning, NYCC released the first round of their virtual panels. Blame whomever you like about the largely disappointing conclusion of the Skywalker Saga in “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.” Was it Kathleen Kennedy’s fault? JJ Abrams’? Or was the film a victim of it’s own hype? Personally, we’re gonna go with Abrams, who was brought in to complete the saga after Colin Trevorrow was fired from Episode IX. That’s not to say that Kennedy, head of LucasFilm, doesn’t shoulder some of the responsibility too, as she had final story say. But Abrams had to sell them on his idea, which it really sounds like he made up as he…
We’re not exactly sure how this came to be, but Ryan Reynolds SOMEHOW convinced Rick Moranis to return to acting. Kinda. Sorta. In a post Reynolds shared on Twitter, we see the two Canadians doing a commercial for Mint Mobile. Fans across Twitter immediately starting calling for Moranis to appear in “Deadpool 3.” We should be so lucky. This isn’t the first time Moranis, who retired from acting, has made a ‘comeback’ recently- he voiced his “Spaceballs” character Dark Helmet in an episode of “The Goldbergs” back in 2018. And, we know he’ll be involved in Disney+’s upcoming “Honey I…

Earlier this month, Walt Disney Pictures released their live-action adaptation of animated film “Mulan” on their official streaming service, Disney+. It’s been a long, expensive road for this Niki Caro-directed remake, and audiences are….divided.Touted as a “closer to the legend” take on the story of Hua Mulan, this version doesn’t have a wise-cracking dragon, nor any songs. What it DOES have is a pretty great cast, including Jet Li as the Emperor, and a super awesome surprise cameo at the end of the film.If you don’t want spoilers, PLEASE click away now. Seriously. If you’re still reading, we’re going to…
Jelly Belly creator David Klein thinks he’s turned into Willy Wonka. We say this because Klein announced earlier this week a massive “gold ticket” hunt across the country. It’s not just any hunt, either- there will be prizes, cash rewards, and even a freaking candy factory for one lucky winner. BUT…you have to pay for it. Before you get too excited, you have to know that in order to participate, you’ll have to fork over an entry fee of about $50 to receive a riddle (you’ll need to solve in order to receive the clue) in your state. Each treasure…
