We are so excited to report that Ron Pearlman has been tapped to bring “Beast Wars” Optimus Primal to the big screen in “Transformers 7!” He previously voiced the character in the animated “Tranformers: Power of the Primes.”
The film’s official title “Transformers: Rise of the Beasts” says it all. Pearlman’s character will play an integral part in the upcoming movie. The movie will feature characters included in 1996’s animated show “Beast Wars: Transformers” where they took on “beast mode” attributes alongside regular decepticons and autobots.
The film will be set in 1994 and will feature Autobots Optimus Prime and Bumblebee alongside the Maximals Airazor, Rhinox, and Optimus Primal. Steven Caple Jr. (“Creed II“) will be directing, with Anthony Ramos and Dominique Fishback starring.
We’re excited for this new film and with the addition of Ron Pearlman to voice Optimus Primal we know that it is going to be a joy to listen to as well as watch on the big screen.
