Nicolas Cage Film “Jiu Jitsu” Looks Ridiculous and Possibly…Fun?

Any time a new Nicolas Cage film is on the horizon, we know what to expect- for the most part. When Cage lends his…unique…style to a production, it’s one of two things. A reminder of why he continues to appear in projects, or a constant head scratching question of why he continues to appear in projects.

We’re not sure which one “Jiu Jitsu” is gonna be yet, but he’s got a sword and fights a robot that looks suspiciously like Netflix’s “Lost in Space” reboot robot.

An ancient order of Jiu Jitsu fighters faces a vicious race of alien invaders in an epic battle for the survival of Earth. Nicolas Cage joins a cast that includes Alain Moussi, Frank Grillo, Rick Yune, Marie Avgeropoulos, Juju Chan, and Tony Jaa. Co-written and directed by “Kickboxer: Retaliation” Dimitri Logothetis.
